The Lightweight Standard bent shaft canoe paddle is similiar in construction
to our Standard. This paddle uses a polyuretane foam core that makes 3-4 ounces
lighter than the wood core Standard. It also has an oval basswood 14 degree
bent shaft that is sealed with epoxy and polyurethane. The blade is sealed with
4 coats of epoxy and reinforced with 4ounce fiberglass cloth, is wrapped
