At FoxWorx Paddles, we feel that straight shaft canoe paddles should give the
canoer the same lightweight performance that we have been putting in our bent
shaft canoe paddles for the last 30 plus years. The Foxtail is our take on the
traditional beavertail straight shaft canoe paddle, while the Excel was designed
for to be a more performance paddle, and the Arrow is a good all around straight
shaft canoe paddle. All our straight shaft canoe paddles use our oval basswood
shafts, epoxy and fiberglass reinforced blades and lexan tips for better
